Dear Alexander, yes I know these big ones,, in one of my previous posts I wrote that knowing big ones that would pop out here and there I never saw them as a threat and saldy / stupidly infeceted my self not knowing better..

Now, I just assume small ones are miniature juvenile version of big ones, but would not claim it with 100% certainty.. might be completely different species alltogether.

Whatever cause them to spawn and flourish to these proportions I surely dont know neither.. might be combination of plentifull food and and high water temerature..

I went on speculating that same as with many other tropical marine organisms these things might mass spawn if temperature is on the higher end of the spectrum (as it was in my case) .. last spring I observed my turban snails spawning... there on I drawed the conclusion that what is suitable for one species of gastropods might be as easily for another, who knows..
