Hi JWRE,

I do agree with you, it is quite blue!. On my next bulb exchange I might try adding a few of the coral light bulbs.

Will Coral Light bulbs enhance/change growth rates, or just change the visual color spectrum?

I have seen someone on this form using nothing but the new generation bulbs in his setup (no Fiji, Super Blue, or Coral Light spectrum) with great coloration. I based my choice on this (stupid me). For the life of me I've been trying to track down the thread - now i am interested to see how his light configuration is getting along after a few months! If I find it today I will post, but would certainly like the tank a bit less blue looking.

The new T5 setup is a major improvement over my Vertex Illumina LED!! (which only seems to grow soft/LPS corals, SPS turned to brown sticks after a few weeks.)

I am very happy/excited with the results over the last 3 days. If anyone is looking in going LED for an SPS tank, i've tried Vertex, Kessils, and EcoTech Radions. I still prefer T5 and will pay the additional power bill for them!

Thanks!
