Default 3hrs on 3 hrs off

I am start a new tank on zeovit and have my reactor running off a gate valve manifold from my return pump. Can I cut the flow in half (or some other fraction as appropriate) since I can’t stop and start my return pump every 3 hrs with this setup.

If it is a new system which needs to be cycled first without animals you can use continuous flow at 100 US gallons per hour for each 1 liter ZeoVit.

If the system does already contains animal especially corals the 3 hour on / off interval is recommended to speed down changes giving your corals time to adopt. If this is not possible you can alternatively reduce the flow to ~50 US gallons per hour for each 1 liter ZeoVit. If all goes well you can increase the flow step by step about 2 weeks after the first ZeoVit exchange, if corals are doing fine.
