We have increased the flow through reactor a bit more, as it was no changes. Now it is 580 l/h. since that time 8 days passed. The coral shows visible growth, but the color still brown. Some corals getting even browner. Should I increase ZEO start3 dosing (1ml per day). Do you have any recommendations? Hanna phosphate checker on the way.

At the moment I would recommend you to wait for the photometer to arrive as we do not know if PO4 is elevated which does cause dark coral tissue.

Hallo Alexander!
I measured phosphorus with Hanna Hi 736 and... I have 165ppb. As I understand It's equal about 0.5 ppm phosphates..It's a very high value..How can I reduce that?
Thanks.

Let's test Ro/di water using Hanna Hi 736 and rule out this factor first. (to avoid fingerprint sticking to the reaction bottle)

What is the current reactor flow level?
What is the total dose of Zeo?
Can you provide current coral pictures?

Do you still have issues with algae ? Do the corals in the last set of pictures you have posted show growth and has the issue still the same color or do they get darker in the meantime ?

Yes, I still have, but now a little less. Half of my corals are getting darker. Some days ago one of my corlas is died..Acropora..

I don't always change charcoal. Maybe it's a problem?

Sorry, I don't have any experience with this activated carbon. Maybe you can try putting it into Ro/di water and testing the phosphorus.

Animal group Marlin Salt, is it mineral salt?

Is there a pest problem in the coral?
Green corals are pale green, not dark brown

BioMate 10 drops every other day
Sponge power replaces Food7, 5 drops every other day
Food7 can be retained after adding low malnutrition CoralSnow 10ml, 2~3 times a week
Bac 5 drops, 2~3 times a week
Start3 0.55ml x2

Your dosing plan looks good, it makes me confused, the coral is brown

Sorry, "antiofhade, I don't understand this meaning"

In addition to Zeo's products, do you add extra things?

Food7 can be added after the low malnutrition water quality

In your first post you told you use Fauna Marin Balling, can you tell me if this does contain a mineral salt also ?

Your dosing regimen is basically fine, for a net water volume of 500 liters 1.2 liters zeovit with a constant water flow of ~ 500 liters per hour would be the right amount.

If I do convert your Hanna PO4 test result of 165 ppb to mg/l it is 0.165 mg/l. You can find a online converter over here:

http://www.justintools.com/unit-conv...rams-per-liter

Can you please put some of the carbon in RO water for one hour and measure the PO4 level of the water after about one hour ?

Can you also tell how much ml of skimmate you get daily with your skimmer and if it is dark or light ?

G.Alexander

100gr of Fauna Marin Carbon for one hour gives me 5 ppb of Phosphorus.
