Default Balling and zeovit

Ok Im confused. Are people balling when using the zeovit method?

Many do this but they do not use the trace element component of it. It is necessary to use pure chemicals, otherwise corals in a nutrient poor environment will respond negative with tissue darkening.

So just alk and calcium with mag taken care of with water changes?

Usually you can balance Mg with the water changes if the used salt does contain a adequate concentration. A level of ~ 1280 mg is ideal, if the level does decrease you need to supplement it additional if you are sure your test kit is accurate.
