Default Limited space for reactor

I am stating to cycle a Red Sea Reefer 170(30+ gallons) and the sump is rather small. After placing the protein skimmer and heater I have very little space to put a reactor for ZEOVIT MEDIA. Also there is only a little over 3 inches between the sump wall and the cabinet wall.
Are there any very small reactor that I could use? Could the media just be put in a media bag and then daily move around the bag?

Thank you!

Hello Liverock27, Reactor you can look for "external" type, but the "flooding risk" prevention problem requires special care

If you can't find a suitable model, you can DIY an external reactor.

I would just not bother. You can get results without the stones but with your size tank I would do large water changes every week and not worry about triton either.
I would stock up on
Kz coral snow
kz bak
kz mate
kz start 3
vitailzer
kz iron
Amino Lps
Kz sponge power
Kz food

I think the innovative marine minimax reactor may work fine. Go with the midsize. I was considering going with it before I got the avast vibe. You can adjust the flow and easily shake the stones daily.

It is also not to difficult to DIY a custom made reactor which does fit exactly in your sump. You might get some ideas over here:
