Default Not Removing Mulm For Over A Week During Trip

Good evening,

Im in the process of setting up my Skimz Monzter ZM120 External Zeolith Reactor. I understand that I need to remove the mulm from the rocks at least once a day. So my question. Ill be going out of town for a week during Christmas and wont have any one to shake the rocks to remove the mulm. Can something bad happen if I keep water flowing through the reactor without removing the mulm from the rocks?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I feel that if the nutrition is stable, then there is no problem for the time being, confirm the hourly flow of the zeovit reactor and the supply of bacteria from Zeo Start.

It will not be a problem. Jist resume when you ste back.
The question is: how about the dosing? Someone dosing for you?

Actually I was hoping I could pause dosing the zeovit supplements for the week as well. Eventually I plan on using a dosing pump for the daily supplements but that wont be set up until after the holidays.

It might be good to just dose ZeoStart while you are away. The product can easy be diluted with water so it is perfect to be dosed automatically. Just make sure to get it running a couple of days before you leave to make sure it does work well with your dosing system. Also just add as much of the product you need while you are away so if the dosing system does fail to stop pumping in the fill container not much negative will happen.
