What is your ALK, NO3 and PO4, Mg, Ca?

Triton is a good method yes make sure you can implement 10% + Refugium section I did think of going that way to make life easy! GFO** soz haha

Question to the zeovits in the house... 0.01-PO4 6ppm-NO3 I can't get the nitrate lower its been sitting around that for a month now I clean the tank well so I'm not slacking there and dose correctly. I need to change my flow as some diatoms are slowly growing on the sand but I can't lower the NO3 ???

Do you run any kind of mechanical filtration materials and what is the fish stocking level of your system ?

I would additional recommend to cross check the reading with a different test kit. Please also post your actual dosing regimen.

Zeo start 0.5ml x2 daily
Zeobak 5drops x2weekly
Sponge power 5 drops daily
Sump: enters into 4 filter socks > chamber with pure marine blocks > large Skimmer + zeoreactor > bubble trap with carbon + sponge pad > return chamber with ATO

Basically a NO3 level of 6 does not have a negative impact to your corals or their coloration, I am sure the level will drop slowly over the time. Anyways your dosing regimen is fine, I just see the sponge in your filter critical as they can produce NO3 if they are not cleaned regular like daily or every other day. I would personally remove it. Also make sure to clean the filter socks regular.

I do also not have experience with the filtration material you use additional, that should not be necessary.

Lets continue dosing for a net 400 liter system as follows:

Zeo start 0.4ml x2 daily
Zeobak 5 drops x2weekly
Sponge power 4 drops every other day

Ideal thanks for the reassurance that is what I believed I shall take the sponge out and build a small rack for a small bit of floss to trap the bubbles which I can clean easily.
No brown film at all has come back since I blacked it out and have made the flow crazy!

Update Zeovit peninsula
Hey there Reefers so its been just over 4 months into zeovit now, I'm starting to really get the hang of this now nitrates all coming down nicely PO4 untraceable and fish look well. I have uploaded some videos on the tanks progress on youtube @Fraysreef
NO3 - 5-8ppm
PO4 - 0.01ppm
CAL - 410
DKH - 7.8
MAG - 1370
POT - 400
Issues
I have noticed possible some lateral line erosion on my yellow tang eyes look perfect just the line seems bit more visible than normal I have looked at multiple yellow tangs and this seems the case he's eating really well on 3 types of food and swims around the tank nicely so I'm not to worried.

Emperor angelfish randomly passed away found it lethargic one night next morning gone, very upsetting and can't get a reason for it all the other fish doing well and no aggression to him before death. Looking to head into Triton method as I don't get on well with zeovit shall decide in next video update
