Default Calcium - Water Parameters

I just started my 2nd round of Zeovit as I exchanged the rocks after six weeks. Here are my current parameters...

Ca 440 mg - Guide says 410-430
Mg 1300 mg - Guide says 1250-1300
KH 7.2 - Guide says 6.5-7.5
K+ 430 mg- Guide says 380 - 400
Salinity 35 - Guide says 33-35

After the first round I haven't seen much change as my Nitrates and phosphates are still hovering around where they were before I started 6 weeks ago.. Nitrate 12 ppm/Phosphates .1

My question resolves around the dosing of Ca. I'm a LITTLE out of the recommended range. Should I stop dosing the Ca as a part of my 2-part until I get it down to 420ish?

I've always read you should dose 2-part in equal amounts and I don't want to throw things out of wake if I discontinue dosing the Ca, and only dose Alk until the Ca lowers a little bit?

So far, even though I haven't seen any change in my nutrient level with Zeovit, I have seen more color coming back into some of my SPS corals. I think this is probably due to running a higher dkH before (12.5), and many of the SPS corals had burnt tips prior.

Try to answer your question

The level of elemental testing you posted For me, the deviation from the recommended level is not too much. Just stop the replenishment temporarily, let it consume naturally, and then focus on the value to be stable within the recommended level.

The second part was replaced with ZeoVit material, Zeo Bac x10 days (1 drop / 25 US gallons), after about 2 weeks, if the coral is healthy, switch the reactor to continuous flow

It is difficult to say the reason for the burning of the top of the coral, it is indeed high Kh, the tip is burnt

The content of trona (6.5-7.5 dKH)
Ca level < 450

The water parameters you have do not cause any issue, I would recommend to keep them as they are as long as corals are doing well. Ca could be a little bit lower so you might just reduce your Ca supplement a little bit but as said 440 mg does not cause issues basically, same with the potassium level.
