Mike its not the pump, the skimming effectiveness has not change positive or negative since replacing the AB with a MRD, just the little bit of additional noise from the AB was the reason for the change. I have planned to do some experiments with the lighting later as I thought I can not live without the HQI shimmer but at the moment I am pleased with the look.

any picture of the assembly, did it fit right on?

Thanks......

Hi Ole, had running my S model with the AB pump coming with the skimmer. Personally I found the 2000/1 not to noisy, the 7000 is another pump class. I would expect the 3500 liter pump might be to strong for the size of the skimmer water outlet ?

Thank you Brian but believe there is always something to do around the tank

Really hurts Ed especially over the first couple of weeks while all the coral skeletons lying outside on the terrace watching them daily. In the meantime they have gone, a friend of mine used them for his bathroom

Thank you Johan, it is not a automatic reactor just easier to pump. Juergen has posted some information about it:

I've setup several systems that used a majority of "white" bulbs from AquaScience and ATI, ratios of like 7:3 (white:blue, I include the Fiji Purple in the white category). I've always had bleaching. I only have set up one system that used a ratio of 4:1 CL Next Gen: Fiji Purple, and had paling as well.
- How did you attach the RD to your Revolution?

Absolutely stunning!

Thanks Matt, to be honest I am not very experienced with full T5 lighting so this is my first complete T5 setup but until now I have not observed any kind of bleaching, neither with new additions nor with old ones. Not sure which kind of ballasts you have used, might this make any difference ?

I have a piece of silicon hose between the MRD using the AB`s water outlet piece in the skimmer. Any kind of tube in the right diameter should work fine.
