Levels may be spiking!

PO4 .11 (.09 on retest) Hanna. However, my Red Sea test seems normal.
NO3 no longer undetectable probably around 1-2 PPM (I also dosed .12ml of Start about an hour ago).

I had my only powerhead malfunction in the middle of last night. I turned it off for approximately 4 hours so I could repair it in the morning, return pump was still working as was the rest of the filtration.

Need to pick up a new bucket of salt so I can do a 10g water change tomorrow. Added the XR30 Diffuster to the radion and increased the power to 25% max. Still on a 50% of normal acclimation.

5g water change. 1/2 Red Sea Blue Bucket and 1/2 TMPR Salt. I ran out of Blue. Corals look good. The XR30 diffuser is really great much more even light saturation.

Going add Zym later tonight on my next 3hr on and off cycle with .12 of Start 3. Despite my 3 day shipping my CO2 scrubber parts and media will be here on Monday. I will probably install later in the week.

Nitrate still detectable. PO4 read .47 which I think was an error. Red Sea is still around .08

Levels continue to climb even though I've started running the reactor full time. I don't see any mulm developing when shaking.

PH appears to be 8.2 this morning. The skimmer is proving to add a lot of moisture to the point where water was almost touching the media. I will add a T into it and draw air and skimmer exhaust.

PO4 is lower now. Not sure if it was accurate as after the test I found a bit more hanna reagent in the packet. NO3 appears the same between 1-5 ppm.

Changed stones left in approx 1/2 including the small stones in media bag. Added 1/3 left out approx 1/4 of the new stones. Restarted reactor approx 9.7 sec for 16 oz.

I had a lot of algae grow in the week before the change. Checked today NO3 is very low and PO4 is approx .12 ppm hanna. Corals look ok. Getting a little growth on the Birdsnest. My acans do not appear to be regenerating but are extending feeding at night. I think one of my blastos is starting to grow extra heads.

BTW one thing I would advice reefers when testing PO4 (aside from proper testing like cleaning sample containers and wiping the glass) is to collect the sample from the display tank not the sump.
I have noticed that when collecting the test sample from the sump the reading can be bit higher, I think this is because water in the sump is less agitated and cycled compared to the display tank so you might include some extra nutrients from the sump water compared to the display water.

PO4 at .07 per hanna 713
NO3 is undetectable

CA was at ~425 a few days ago
KH is ~6.4 dkh

Algae continues to recede. CUC is helping I think. I am stirring the sand bed when it looks dirty.

2 drops of bak daily for the past week or so. .12 to .15 of start 3 2x per da. Flow is 16 oz in ~10 seconds.

Here are some close ups. All are just with white balance adjusted so the corals are a bit more bright under the eye than in the photos. I did tweak the rock anemone and birds nest to look more close to how they look in person.

As you can see the blue/green/red monti that I thought was dead is back with a vengeance.
