Difficult to say but usually this should not happen. I would recheck first if the reactor flow has changed (lowered). I can also not say much about the zeolite material you use, never had it running so the result might be different ?

To get this under control again I would first try to modify the dosing regimen a little bit:

ZeoBac – 13 drops every other day
ZeoStart – 1.3 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower – 13 drops daily

Cut back the coloration elements you additional use to 2 x weekly instead of daily.

Additional you can dose 26 drops BioMate every other day for some time. This should support to decrease the PO4 level.

Also adjust your skimmer to skim more wet for some time while cleaning it daily to export as much as possible.

Thanks for the reply

Should I leave of dosing zeofood as well.

Skimmer is wet skimming and checked the flow through reactor and was ok.

What is the reason for dosing more sponge power.

shall I keep to this dosing regime until I change the stones on The 10/2/18 that will be 6 weeks or shall I change stones on 27/01/18 which will mean 4 weeks in the reactor.

I will order some bio mate what is the purpose of this

Thanks G

ZeoFood can be used later if the system runs nutrient poor stabile to fine tune coral coloration, at the moment it is not necessary. SpongePower has a positive side effect to the biology this is the reason why I would use it with your dosing regimen. Later you should be able to reduce the addition of SpongePower to 2 x weekly or so.

First ZeoVit exchange should be done if the first 4 weeks have passed, than replace 90% of the material and keep ~10% of the old material in the reactor. After each exchange dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days. Other exchanges can be lengthen to 6 – 8 weeks.

You can use the recommended dosing regimen for the next couple of month usually. As long as your corals do have dark tissue I recommend to stop dosing iodine and other coloration elements if you use any additional.

Because of CoralSnow Plus I can not give you any advise, never used the product but if just dosed 2 x weekly I would not expect much of a increase even if it contains Mg.
