A hoekesmai? It is normally very neon, but I just dosed a sniff too much Spur2. White balance set so actinic lighting doesn't "cheat". Hehe. Growth pattern not yet established...it was a funny shaped frag. I have another one that may be the same specie, but different colors.

If this is not hoek, I will delete the photos. Thanks for any help with ID!

Hi!
I bought one of those some time ago, the first week it had awesome blue color but then it browned out.
Anyone has some hints how to get the blue color back?
Im still strugelling with alk/ca, could it be this?

i have startet with Zeospur but im very careful with dosing and by now i havent seen any changes on any coral (0,35ml;0,4;0,45;0,5;0,55) per 100l...i think ill pour in 0,75 now...

Any other hints?

Alex

I find if a.hoeksemai is too nutrient deprived it fades a lot. Here is a pic of mine but in person it's a darker richer blue.

Here is my other Hoeksemai. It is now 10 inches across, and I find it very difficult to keep nice color. The branches are much thinner now.
