thank you mate.

I hate dinos and cyanos... never had dinos and not sure whhy they showed up but ya... even with Po4 at 0.06 lol

KHD is amazing really glad I'm using it, you always need a 1 doser just for monitoring (and controlling if you just need 1channel for your KH buffer) so monitoring uses 3channels the rest is up to you.

UPDATE.

All the corals are good and growing 1month after the blackout... no dinos showing up just had a little stress... my mistake high salinity I think it was Core7 related and me forgetting to take water out but it's now solved and back to track.

Last week I went to Porto, Portugal to grab more frags... and since I'm running out of space I had to do a little re-scape I think it's fine now ahaha

So check out the current look

Hello reefers

KH Director update and top-down coral photography

When I installed the GHL KH Director I posted some photos and not much more... so let's start the 6months review

The measures have been rock solid, very accurate with my Hanna that I cross check sometimes... (0.03dKh-0.15dKh variations from the Hanna) so not much "error" maybe the KHD is even more precise than the Hanna hummm

P4 + KH Director is also controlling my KH automatically for more than 2months keeping it very stable like you can observe on the graph below

And now some top-down coral photography

piece.

Hi What is your triton tests coming back like. Are you mostly in the green? What elements are you dosing? What water changes are you doing?

Had to do some water changes because I overdosed V (now stopped for over 1month) but apart from that no water changes...

Dosing weekly: Sr, Ni, Zn, Mn and I

My latest ICP from last month:

V is still a bit high but I'll ride it out.

I used NSW, 6x 15% water change still came down from 6 to 2ugL .... V is hard to bring down errr mental note be very carefull with V.

NSW ICP has V at 0.00ugL but I know there must be traces of V below test LOD... hence how hard it is to bring it down

Hello PmRg, How to control iron additions? It always gives me zero tests, and I really do not know what value I should have.
By the way, Amazing colors those of your acros.

Hello,

I let Core7 deal with the Iron... it is suppose to give you always 0 anything above that it's too much.

Thank you

ok. I use reef coulour C from Red sea. I add 0.2 ml every day through a peristaltic pump. I will go up the dose very little by little, and checking with triton test, and always maintaining a lower dose than the other traces of Red Sea.
Thank you for your comments

Hello everyone,

update... and some pics.

Lately I have been adding a lot of organics into the tank like Amino Acids and coral foods to try and keep organics UP, Kh has been falling so Core7 dosage has gone up quickly which is good and bad LOL

everything is growing apart from 2 acros I lost maybe due to previous problems... I think it's normal will see...

I have been controlling S.G. quite well plus all the elements are in check, so no water changes for more than 3months

So let's see the pics, hope you enjoy them.

piece.
