Default Filter socks?

Hi all,Im tired of changing my filter socks every day and cleaning them,I was wondering how many run there zeo tanks without them and if you see a increase in po4,not to mention the crud build up in the sump.i was considering a roller filter in the uk theres a new product called the x filter which uses low micron filter theres loads of info on ultimate reef forum, but the main concern is the roller filter would do such a good job the tank would be too clean, then my skimmer would be effected, but my understanding of zeo is we need effective skimming as it is a bacterial system.would be good to here peoples experience on running no filter socks and roller filters with low micron

I ran ZEO and no socks on my anemone nano. It did great until I upgraded and lost the nem. Super sad. Nutrients were high. I run a roller on my main SPS. At the start the water was way too clean but now I like it. My nitrate on that tank is 3 but battling high phosphates at the moment for other reasons.

They can be used additional, I had clearer water while using them but it is important to clean them regular (daily or every other day).

Hello, I installed a sk3000 clarisea three weeks ago.
In the first week my corals cleared a lot, and I had to lower 1/3 my dose of ZS and ZB to recover some phosphates and nitrates. It seems that they are already recovering.
I can also say that I have never had the water so clear. It seems a success to install this type of filters, in addition to the mentioned advantages is to forget to clean the filters socks.
