Default What size reactor?

Hello, new to zeovit and trying to do some research. I’ve got a 180 gallon with 40 gallon sump, around 115 lbs of live rock. What size reactor would you recommend? Is 2L enough or does it make sense to go bigger in case of upgrade.

Zeovit figures zeolite usage based on net gallons, which I assume is total gallons minus rock and sand, correct?

Looking at an avast vibe so that’s why I’m asking. I think those come in 2L or 4L.

Thanks!

Hi Chad

I would calculate the net water volume of your system to 175 US gallons. For this volume 1.7 liters of the ZeoVit material is recommended. Reactor flow should be ~ 175 US gallons per hour.
