so do I skip the 5 drops ZB that I normally do or is the CS & 5 drops ZB in addition to the normal 5 drops ?

No additional ZeoBac dosage is necessary when you dose the mixture.

Default activated carbon

is the activated carbon necessary? or is it primarily for polishing the water ? I use Chemical-Pure Elite & I recall 2yrs ago a yellow tang ended up with HLLE so I stopped using the carbon & it healed up & is still alive today. Im wondering if this is what Im seeing in my foxface & the same yellow tang again.
thanks for your insight

The carbon does remove nettle toxins of the corals and other unwanted substances so it in not a must but recommended.

Potassium Iodine Fluoride does contain to less potassium to have any measureable impact to your system. K-Balance or better K-Balance Strong can be used to slowly increase the level. Which one do you already have ?

I have to order it that’s why I wanted to check first. would this be the reason my zoas have not opened in more than a week? or would it be the nutrient level is too low for them? I have moved them to less flow areas but that has not helped. should I start some supplemental dosing for them?
SG 1.026
dKH 6.7
Ca 450
pH 7.82
NH3 0 Salifert
NO2 0 Salifert
NO3 0 Nyos
PO4 0.025 Nyos
Mg 1320 Salifert
K 320-340 Salifert, done this test twice to eliminate error
everything looks good except Zoas, although growth seems to have stopped in the last few weeks compared to when the nutrients were in the process of lowering.

Would recommend you to get K-Balance Strong if you have the choice, it does compare more K+ ions compared to the Standard version.

The reduction of growth with the SPS corals can have something to do with the lower K+ level.

You can dose 5 ml K-Balance Strong 2 x daily (morning / evening) and recheck the level in the end of the week.

I have personally never kept Zoas, I can not really give you a recommendation for them.

I can only get the K-Balance Potassium at the moment, should be here tomorrow so do I keep the dose the same (5ml) as the strong u recommended? I will look around more for the strong & see if I can find it

So you also need to get a k test package, k+ ~380, and the upgrade needs to be slow

You can use the Standard instead, same quantity but lets dose 4 x daily if possible. Make sure to have a minimum dosing break of 2 hours between the additions.
