Post New Tank. Zeovit dosing recommendations

Hi, my tank has been up and running for about 7 months. I would like you to help me with zeovit system. I have used Zeovit since the beginning.

1. Gross water volume of your complete system (incl. sump etc.)
350L
Net water volume (incl. sump etc.)
317L
3. Are you using a CaCO2 reactor or other technique
I use Seachem's balling (Reef Fusion 1 and 2)

4. Are you using a PO4 reactor (how long, how long ago, etc.)
NO
5. Are you using Ozone
NO
6. Are you using UV
NO
7. What skimmer are you using (type, rated water volume)
DELCTEC SC1660
Air injected 1000 l/h

8. What are your actual PO4 and NO3 levels
PO4=0.0
NO3=0.0

9. What are your actual Ca, Alk and Mg levels
KH 7.3
Ca 410
Mg 1400 (I can't reduce it with Reef Fusion)

10. What filtration method do you use (refugium, DSB, Miracle Mud, etc.)
Only 51 kg of Live Rock and Rollermat. No sand in my system.
11. Type of light (Watt, color temp, how old, etc.)
2xRadion G4 Pro. Total 380 watts.

12.What corals do you keep.
SPS mainly.

13. Tissue color (light or dark)
Not as light as I see in other zeovit tanks.

14. How long has the tank been running.
7 months.

15. Why do you want to use the ZEOvit system
Fantastic results I see in pictures.
16. Any supplemental dosing (type, amount, why, etc.)
Coral system 1 2 3 4. I add 12 ml weekly.

17. Live rock (how much, how old, etc.)
51 Kg Fiji premium (new rock).

18. Any present problems
A bit of green hair algae. Colors are not as good as I would like.
Potassium is very high (460) I don't add any K supplement.
19. Problem description (tissue loss tips, tissue loss base, diatom bloom, algae, etc.)
20. What test kit do you use (how old, recently switched, etc.)
KH HANNA AND SALIFERT.
MG, CA, K, SALIFERT.
PO4 HANNA
NO3 JBL

21. Present dosing, amounts and intervals (ZEOvit, ZEObak, ZEOfood, ZEOstart, ZEOspur2, etc.)
See below
22. Other water parameters and water stability (salinity, temp, etc.)
Salinity 34 ppt (SG 1026).
Temp 79.7 F

23. Which salt brand do you use.
Salnity Aquavitro

Current dosing schedule:
Zeovit 600ml
Carbon 120 g

ZeoStart 0.2 ml 3 times weekly
ZeoBak 3 drops twice weekly
Bio-Mate 3 drops 2 times weekly
CyanoClean 4 drop 2 times weekly

Sponge Power 2 drops every other day
Coral Vitalizer 2 drops 3 times weekly
AAHC 3 drops 2 times weekly
Coral Booster 1 ml 3 times weekly
Macro Elements 2 ml once weekly
FlatWorm Stop 1 ml daily

Eisen 3 drops once weekly
Coral Snow 3 ml daily (in combination with zeobak, cyanoclean, biomate and Coral system)
Coral System 1234 12 ml once weekly.

My biggest doubt is: stop dosing coral system and start using: a-balance, b-balance and Pohl's Xtra.
How should I do this? How to dose the new products? What do you recommend me?

Thanks a lot !!

Hi, tank 7 months. You have a little green algae problem, try kz coral snow 0.3ml per day, and adjust the skimmer to be damp, the dosing dose is zeo start3, 0.15ml morning/evening, a total of 0.3ml a day, the amount of zeolite is 0.75 litter, the zeolite is used before the reverse Penetration water rinse
Several times, the zeolite barrel flow is about 300 liters to 400 liters per hour to 1 liter boiling.
What is the flow rate of the zeolite reactor? And try to replace the zeolite, replace 90% to retain 10%, after replacement, zeo bac 3 drops per day, 10 days, and switch to continuous flow.

I have no experience with led.

0.3 liters of activated carbon was placed in a filter bag and placed in a passive stream of water in a sump, and replaced every 30 days. Wipe the carbon every day to keep the surface clean. Most users get the perfect result with korallenzucht carbon.

Start3 Add morning and evening every day, zeo bac 3 drops 2~3 times a week, sponge power 3 drops every other day, kz cv 3 drops 2 times a week, kz xtra 3ml once a week,

Ro/di is correct and water changes 10% per week

For about 2 weeks, let's take a look at the coral changes, after which the dose may need to be adjusted.

The remaining potions can be added temporarily

In addition kz bb is best added in the element stability

Sorry, start3 0.2ml is good.
I think 1.start3 daily morning/night
2. Zeolite replacement, switch to continuous flow
3. Only need to stabilize the kz foundation to observe whether the coral tissue becomes lighter
4. Algae problem use kz coral snow, let skimmer get wet, remove Organic salts, water quality naturally subsided under the help of kz basic 4 balance and kz activated carbon.
5. Change water by 10% every week. In addition, when the coral tissue is dark, there are many reasons to eliminate the pest problem. From the water quality review, the light source may also be an indirect problem.

Because you describe algae problems and np = 0.00ppm is a possible phenomenon.

Let us first make the kz foundation balance more effective. After the tissue is lightened, it is more meaningful to add nutrients.

Hi decena

Can you please tell us more about your dosage, some additional questions:

Are you using the CoralSystem since the beginning ?
When exactly have you started to use the ZeoVit System ?
Do you still dose CoralSystem additional to ZeoVit ?
What exactly is the flow through your ZeoVit reactor, please measure it.

G.Alexander

Is not it too little Coral Snow? Now,I am dosing about 3 ml daily. Should I go to 0.3 ml per day?

- OK I will correct the amount of zeolite to 0.75 litter.
- The flow through my zeovit reactor is 330 liters/hour (I use an Apex flow meter).
- I replace the zeolite every 6 weeks (I was replacing 85% and retaining 15%)
- I don't understand you when say "the zeolite is used before the reverse Penetration water rinse
Several times" Could you please explain this? Thanks.

- Ok jacky. I already use 0.3 liters of KZ Activated carbon. But it is located in a media reactor with a flow rate of 230 liters/hour. Is it ok?

5. Ok.

Hi Alexander, thanks a lot for your help and your time.

1. Yes, I am using CoralSystem since the second month of the tank.
2. The tank was set up on January 2018. I started using zeovit on February 2018.
3. Yes I use CoralSystem in addition to Zeovit, but I don't use A-Balance, B-Balance, Pohl's Xtra.
4. The flow is 330 liters/hour.

My Current dosing schedule is:

-kz Zeolite 0.6 l --> change to 0.75 l
-kz Carbon 0.3 liter

-kz Start3 0.2 ml 3 times weekly (dosed at night)
-kz ZB 3 drops twice weekly (10 days when change zeolite)(dosed in the morning)
-kz BM 3 drops 2 times weekly (dosed at night with CSnow)
-kz CC 4 drop 2 times weekly (dosed at night with CSnow )

BM and CC are dosed at different days.

-kz Sponge Power 2 drops every other day (dosed at night)
-kz Coral Vitalizer 2 drops 3 times weekly (dosed at night)
-kz AAHC 3 drops 2 times weekly (dosed at night)

-kz Coral Booster 1 ml 3 times weekly (lights ON)
-kz Macro Elements 2 ml once weekly (lights ON)
-kz FlatWorm Stop 1 ml daily (lights ON)

-kz Eisen 3 drops once weekly
-kz Coral Snow 3 ml daily (in combination with zeobak, cyanoclean, biomate and Coral system). I normally dose 2 ml in the morning with ZeoBak and 1 ml at night with CC and BM.

-kz Coral System 12 ml once weekly (lights ON). I add 4 products at the same time.

10% weekly water changes Salinity Aquavitro.
Zeolite reactor with continuos flow (changed every 6 weeks). Shake it 2xday.
Carbon placed in media reactor with flow rate 230 liters/hour.

I also dose:

- Easybooster (4ml/day)
- ReefRoids 2.5 ml every other day

My biggest doubt is: stop dosing coral system and start using: a-balance, b-balance and Pohl's Xtra.
How should I do this? How to dose the new products? What do you recommend me?

Hello, decena,

I am really sorry that it is a typo, the first kz coral snow 3ml (corrected).

The second meaning is that before using kz zeolite, it can be washed slightly with Ro/di water. The third activated carbon is placed in the filter bag and placed in a passive flow in the sump at a flow rate of 230 liters/hour. I don't know,

carbon.
Intended use: nitrate and phosphate removal
Positive results: clearer water
Symptoms of OD: Due to the rapid reduction of nutrients, the tip of the charred, the coral is pale and the PE is reduced.

The fourth Coral Booster, MacroElements and AAHC, because of the dark relationship of coral tissue, you can temporarily stop adding.

The fifth tank picture, everyone and G.Alexander can give you practical advice based on the appearance of the coral.

(You said to me, my long statue, David Robert Joseph Beckham, who told me that I am like Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio, forgive my humor.)

The 6-3, 6-4 problem, the bottom stage of kz can also be said to be the most important means of managing low-level nutrients to achieve Ulns (4 objects). They are - kz bac, kz sponge power, kz start3, kz zeolite.

You can find resource-rich treasures on the web page (FAQ).

Try to reply to G, Alexander's question, he is the experienced person here.

If there is any place that you can't understand, don't hesitate to talk to me again. I will try to use another expression to let you know. Sorry to forgive me for not learning English.

Hi Alexander, thanks a lot for your answer and your time.

1. I am using CoralSystem since the aquarium was two month old (March 2018).
2. The aquarium was set up in January 2018. I started to use zeovit system in February 2018.
3. Yes, I use CoralSystem additional to Zeovit, but I don't use A-balance, B-balance, Pohl's Xtra.
4. The flow is 330 liters/hour.

Current dosing schedule:

kz Zeolite 0.6 l --> change to 0.75 l (change every 6 weeks about 85%)
kz Carbon 0.3 l --> Media reactor. Change every month. Flow 230 liters/hour

ZeoStart 0.2 ml 3 times weekly (dosed at night, on different days that CyanoClean and Biomate)
ZeoBak 3 drops twice weekly (dosed in the morning with CoralSnow)
Bio-Mate 3 drops 2 times weekly (dosed at night with CoralSnow)
CyanoClean 4 drop 2 times weekly (dosed at night with CoralSnow)

Note: CyanoClean and Biomate are dosed at different days.

Sponge Power 2 drops every other day (dosed at night)
Coral Snow 3 ml daily (in combination with zeobak, cyanoclean, biomate and Coral system)

Coral Vitalizer 2 drops 3 times weekly (dosed at night)
AAHC 3 drops 2 times weekly (dosed at night)

Coral Booster 1 ml 3 times weekly (dosed about 2.00 pm)
FlatWorm Stop 1 ml daily (dosed about 2.00 pm)
Macro Elements 2 ml once weekly (dosed about 1.00 pm)

Eisen 3 drops once weekly
Coral System 12 ml once weekly. --> 燙hould I change to A-balance, B-balance and Pohl's xtra?

I also dose:

- Easybooster (phyto): 4 ml daily
- Reef Roids: 2.5 ml about 3 times weekly.

My biggest doubt is: stop dosing coral system and start using: a-balance, b-balance and Pohl's Xtra.
How should I do this? How to dose the new products? What do you recommend me?

Thanks a lot !!

Hello, thank you for the picture. I like your tank, it's very beautiful. My feeling is that I change the water 3 times in 10 days, 15% each time, the coral can get positive growth and extension PE, maybe try some more light source and balance with T5 white light source. Let's see what G.Alexander said.

You can use the Coral System additional but in much lower quantities if you run the full ZeoVit system. For your system size I would dose as follows for the next couple of weeks:

ZeoStart 0.3 ml 2 x daily
ZeoBak 3 drops twice weekly pure
Bio-Mate 6 drops 2 times weekly pure
CyanoClean 6 drop 2 times weekly pure
Sponge Power 3 drops every other day
Coral Snow 6 ml 2 times weekly pure
Coral Vitalizer 6 drops 2 times weekly
AAHC 3 drops 2 times weekly

Stopd dosing those products temporary:

Coral Booster
FlatWorm Stop
Macro Elements
Eisen

Reduce the dosing quantity of Coral System to 3 ml 2 times weekly, later to 1 time weekly

Also stop dosing the additional coral food at the moment:

Easybooster
Reef Roids

You should notice that SPS coral tissue slowly starts to lighten up while growth does improve.

Please post a update in about 2 or 3 weeks.

G.Alexander
