Default prepare carbon

I remember watching a video a couple years ago from NanoTopia describing how to prepare carbon for use. I've kinda forgotten the particulars, so was searching for the video, but it's no longer available. Anyone know how to prepare the carbon? Thanks.

Just boil some RO water and switch off the heating source, than put the carbon in the water, this does release the air. Than wait until the temperature of the water is normal and put it in your tank. If you use a mash bag you can do it having the carbon in it.
