Default PH too low at 7.87?

Hi,
Just finished my 14 day cycle. All looks well, but Ph is 7.87. Net water volume is about 16 gallons still dosing according to zeo 14 day cycle. IS PH too low?

PH=7.87 will not deviate too much from the normal level, it may be machine tolerance

I think it is only necessary to ensure SG and Kh, Ca, Mg, K+, at the appropriate level, PH = 7.87 is not much problem, day and night are also different

From what I saw so far most tanks have pH in ~7,8 range.
Sometimes people struggle to keep it above 8.0 but there is not much we can do about it. And that is the reason why I stopped to bother with pH.

It is said that extending the hose of the Skimmer inlet to the outside can improve some PH
I didn't do this, it would be fine within the normal range.

Higher ph has shown to contribute to accelerated growth than with low ph. This is why some people choose to add a CO2 scrubber to their skimmer. This will bring the Ph up.

Some people claim 8.3 to be the "magic number", but in theory even raising it .1 should improve growth, so if you have issues with slow growth, you could try adding a CO2 scrubber There are many different brands and solutions

It's a very young tank. Less than a month. I'll wait and see for now..
