Do I need to remove the 10% zeolite later? Or I can just leave it with the new materials. Thanks so much.

Just keep the 10% of the old material and add 90% of the fresh material additional. The 10% you leave in the reactor do not need to be removed later.

Here you can find some additional general good information:

A little update, I just received the Red Sea potassium test, and I think it said the potassium in my tank must be over 460. (460 is the highest value it can measure). I have stopped using any potassium, and I think I will just wait it goes down. Currently there is no any coral issues. I can still see the blue growing tips r getting intense and the burnt tips are recovering

Today is the 47th today. I tested nitrate that reduces to 0-2 ( salifert) now (12ppm last week and 5 the day before yesterday) and phosphate is constantly zero (hanna).

However, i always feel the water is a little cloudy, not too much. Can i use coral snow to fix that?

I also have zeozym and zeolife, do i need to add them into my dosing plan?

currently the color of my sps is getting dark, i think that is because i putt them in a low place. do i need to adjust my dosing plan or just wait for a while.

thanks for any suggestion

You can dose 4 – 8 ml CoralSnow 2 x weekly if you like to also ZeoLive and ZeoZym as recommended on the labels 1 – 2 x weekly.

Thanks Alexander,

everything in the tank looks great so far. I am really grateful for ur help and time.

nitrate and phosphate are constant zero now. corals are getting lighter, especially my strawberry shortcake. The green body and pink tips appear this week.

Do you think, in this stage, it is good for me to introduce a few more fish? i am worried about breaking the balance of my tank.

Also, in such a clean environment, i think it is necessary for me to observe the color of my coral. I havent use any other coral food because i want to give the tank more time. I will post the picture of some of them, plz feel free to suggest XD.

thanks guys <3

Glad to hear things are working like it should be. Please keep a eye on the K+ level now.

It might make sense to add a couple of more fish now but just add them slowly step by step.

Dear Alexander,

currently I am suffering a low potassium(finally measured the actual value), it is around 350 ppm, i have used KBS 4ml/2 hours (4-5 times per day).

No3 is constantly 0.2-0.5 (salifert), seems cant get lower now. Po4 is 0.00 (hanna).

i have tried a very small amount of Xtra, B-B, CV, (once a week, 1ml for the first two, and 1 drop of CV) and coral snow. Do you think i can try more of them now?

Thanks for any suggestion

Dosing those coloration elements does depend to the look of the corals, can you post a couple of pictures or describe the coloration, tissue color, growth etc ?

Dear Alexander,

Here are some pics, some of them have nice color but some of them r a little bit dark I think. For example, the strawberry short cake, it is getting lighter and colors r coming back.

For the growth, I can see there is growth but not quick. I'm using led +T5 maybe it slows the growth rate I guess.

Thanks for any suggestion

Thank you for the pictures. Lets try to dose the additional products you have as follows for the next 2 -3 weeks while observing the corals:

B-Balance – 8 ml 1 x weekly split in two doses (4 ml morning – 4 ml evening)
XTra – 3 ml 2 x weekly
CoralVitalizer – 4 drops 2 x weekly
CoralSnow – 4 ml 2 x weekly
