Also I have adjusted the water level of my skimmer, but when I increased the water level, the bubble becomes less. Is that normal? I attached the pic here.

I bought a sps yesterday, and it lost the color in 24 hours. Any suggestion. The first pic was what I got yesterday, and the second one is what does it look like today.

Thanks for you guys' help.

Did you acclimate it slowly?
Or maybe you dipped it in something prior to putting it into the tank?

Your dosing regimen is fine, please also keep in mind that you have not used live rock just dry rock which will lengthen the cycle a lot. The corals you have added looks like a south pacific or Australian coral which ware very sensitive so not the best start. I would recommend to give the tank more time, than try a not to sensitive test coral in the next couple of weeks.

The skimmer is not really working well, the water level in the skimmer is to low and it also looks like there is to less air in the skimmer body. Which kind of pump do you use ?

hey, I use the aquabee 3000, the one came with the skimmer. When I close the valve to increase the water level, the bubble become less. The water level is still too low?

I attached more pic of my skimmer, any problem about that. Thanks guys.

The problem is:
If I close the valve, the water level goes up but there is no air
If I open the valve completely, the water level just 2 inches higher than the sump water level.

I would expect that there is anything inside the air injector which does reduce the air intake, would recommend to check this first, you can disassemble the whole injector. Also to increase the water level the valve at the outlet of the skimmer should be used, not sure which one you mean exactly.

i have checked the injector, it is not blocked.

There is only one outside valve, but when I was closing it, the water level went up but bubble was reduced.

Is that because I only have one goby, and there is nothing to skim?

Thanks so much

This is the water level it can get when I took off the outside valve. And the second pic is my tank. Is that too clean to get bubbles?

I just double checked the pump, it is not blocked too.

Don't know why the foam doesn't climb.

I can not see it clear in the pictures do you have the feeling there are enough air bubbles in the skimmer body ?

Another idea are substances which hare in the water preventing to build up the foam ?
