As mention before I would recommend you to start as described over here:

http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showpos...60&postcount=7

Would recommend you to get SpongePower additional as this product has a positive side effect to the biology which is helpful for the cycle. If you decide to not use it just leave it out and start the cycle as recommended in the link.

Thanks G.Alexander for the help. Just dosed 20ml of bak, 40ml of start and 1L of zeolites. That should get things started. Any other recommendations?

Just make sure to follow the recommendations from the link, at the moment nothing else is necessary.

If possible, zeolite reactor should be placed after the skimmer.

Ok, I will correct that today. Thanks!
Side note, the impeller to my skimmer broke, so I won't be skimming for 5 days. What and how will this effect my cycle?

You should get running the skimmer as soon as possible however if nutrients do not increase it should not be a real problem.

Starting at day 4:

ZeoBac 4 drops daily
ZeoStart 0.4 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower 4 drops daily

After day 14:

ZeoBac 4 drops 3 x weekly
ZeoStart 0.4 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower 4 drops daily

Do the first ZeoVit exchange (50%) if the first 4 weeks have passed. After each ZeoVit exchange dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days, than as usual 2 3 x weekly.

That's terrible. I hope I don't have that issue. My impeller should be here in 2 more days. 5 days without skimmer on a zeovit cycle. I'm imagining that it's gonna pull tons of crap once I start it back up.

Should I be stirring my sand bed a little, just to get the small particles out? It also seems the I have to keep adding salt to reach 1.026. It is currently still a little low at 1.023. I'm still dosing as usual, but I'd like to put a fish in the water on day 14 or 15....

I would not do that, it is better to vacuum the sand while doing the regular water changes. Such kind of cleaner work very well:

My salinity has been low the last 12 days. I've been slowly ramping it higher. Finially up to 1.026 I plan on adding a fish within the next few days.
