Default Increasing Zeolites

Hi

I have had the tank running under the recommendations now for a while.
I was wondering if I can increase the Zeolite back to the recommend levels
Im only running 2.5l in my reactor

What would be the recommendation for my tank going forward
My Nitrates are at 4-6ppm and has been for a while

4.5 liters would be the recommended amount for your system, water flow ~ 1800 liters per hour through the reactor. You can try to increase the quantity and flow if all your corals are doing fine now, just increase it slowly step by step over a couple of weeks.

Default Stability is back

Hi

Thanks for your help over past few months
I have a stable system again

I sent out some water for testing and I have elivated levels of Lithium
I also have green algae growing.
PO4 levels are at 0.02 ppm
NO3 at 2 - 4 ppm

My curent dosing schedule is

ZeoBak 18 drops twice a week
Zeofood 18 drops twice a week
Zeostart 3.6 ml per day (1.8ml at a time)
Sponge power 18 drops twice a week
Coral Vitalizer 36 drops twice a week
My Zeolite rocks are 6 weeks old and Im running 4.5l

Thanks for you help in advance

Thank you for the update, if the algae are not already to bad I would try to get rid of them by removing them manually regular for some time + herbivore.

Lets also replace the ZeoVit material now but keep ~ 10% of the old material in the reactor and add 90% fresh material. Dose ZeoBac daily after each exchange daily for 10 days.

Once the algae have gone and nutrients are stabile low you might be able to lengthen the exchange interval to 8 weeks.

Default Stability

Thanks for the reply
What about the high Lithium levels
Shall I continue dosing or reduce some of the additives?

I can not tell you anything about this element sorry. Korallenzucht has published that this element is contained in the product ZeoSpur Macroelements and in Meerwasserkomplex but I expect you do not use them. Another source could be the saltmix or the tapwater.
