Usually you should get a really crystal clear water with the ZeoVit system so O3 is not necessary but if you like to give it a try you can do it temporary as mention before.

Ok :-)

And If you compare the zeolite and carbon absorption, what both of them absorb as a good and bad elements?

I've always tought zeolite absorb much more good elements than carbon

Activated carbon removes gelbstoff (the compounds that give water in an aquarium the yellow tint), some large organic molecules, medications, chlorine, pollutants and toxins, as well as many other types of chemical elements and compounds from the water.
Naturally it is reported that the Zeolites absorb many elements in the reef aquarium; potassium, NO3, PO4, Ammonia and some amino acids. I have not found Carbon to be a factor in this I run 24/7 KZ carbon and use coral snow sometimes I've never had such clear water.

Hi Alexander,

Some news after about 10 days:

- There is a consumption of carbonate, my KH decrease everyday and I add buffer but it's not really effective, I will need to add some corals because the Dastaco is too powerfull for the population right now.

- Calcium level is back to normal ~450

- Magn廥ium level is now 1280, maybe I would increase it to 1350?

- Potassium level is back to normal: 400-410

- I've started to add three new products:

Coral Vitalizer: everyday 3 drops
Coral Booster: everyday 3ml
Pohl's Extra Special: every other day 2ml

The brown algae is still there

What do you think?

Lets keep the Mg level as it is, no change is necessary.

What about your corals, are they growing showing good coloration ?

Does the brown algae disappear over the dark period growing back in the morning when the light are switched on again ?

Some are growing, others are fading dunno why, the t5 bulbs are maybe too old it could cause some problems? I will change them tonight... or maybe there is too much light? I have 14x54w..

The brown algae doesn't disappear at night I think, it's not dino or cyano, it's a bit hairy.. I will try to do a picture today ;-) By the way, it's only growing on the rock, the sand is perfect white :-)

My No3 and Po4 are totally indetectable dispite the fact I feeding my fishes like hell, should I really continue to use bak, start and food?

Difficult to say with the bulbs, how old are they ?

If nutrient are constant low you can try to decrease ZeoStart a little bit to 2/3 for example while dosing Bac and Food 2 x weekly as usual.

Because of the algae you might be able to get rid of them by adding herbivore like snails.

I didn't have any algae before starting dosing ZeoFood and Sponge Power, it start around 2 weeks after the first dosing...

I currently dosing (as nutrition):
- ZeoFood 7: 5 drops every other day
- Sponge power: 5 drops every other day
- Coral Vitalizer: 3 drops everyday
- Pohls Extra Special: 2ml every other day
- Coral Booster: 4ml everyday

Lets see what happens over the next 2 – 3 weeks with the new bulbs first. I would personally cut down the dosage of the coloration elements a little bit as it might have something to do with the algae:

- ZeoFood 7: 5 drops 2 x weekly
- Sponge power: 5 drops every other day
- Coral Vitalizer: 10 drops 2 x weekly
- Pohls Extra Special: 2.5ml 2 x weekly
- Coral Booster: 5ml 2 x weekly

You can dose them on the same day or on alternate days.

The dosing suggestion was just for the coloration elements not the basics so dose Start and Bac as usual.

Not directly but it will support the process to reduce them. You can try to dose 1 - 2 ml / 25 US gallons daily for 10 days or so.
