It will be fine to store them in the room even if the temperature is a little bit higher.

hello there!

my schedule at the moment
zeobak: 2 drops 2 x weekly
Zeostart: 0.2ml x 2 daily
Sponge Power: 2 drops every other day
BioMate: 4 drops 2 x weekly

there are 2 patches of cyano (light red) on my rock but it is stable and not expanding for a week or so. Do I need to worry about?

NO3 drop to 5-7ppm. Do I have to start tweeking my colors. are my nutrient in a good level to start phase 3 or do I have to wait more? what product do you suggest to use next?

If PO4 is stabile in the range of 0.00 – 0.03 mg and if corals tissue has started to get lighter it might make sense to start doing additional products depending to the look of the corals. Because of the cyano patches I would recommend you to vacuum them out regular to prevent them from spreading.

It depends to the corals so lets say there is a leak in blue it might make sense to dose Iodine, if there is a problem with green iron can be used etc. Basically to “improve” most colors XTra, CoralBooster or B-Balance do work well.

Here you can find a general overview of the products:

hello! Its been 4 months since I started Zeo already

my schedule:
zeobak: 2 drops 2 x weekly
Zeostart: 0.2ml x 2 daily
Sponge Power: 2 drops every other day
BioMate: 4 drops 2 x weekly

CoralSnow 3ml x 2 times a week mixed once with bak and once with biomate

the 2 patches of cyano on my rock stay stable and not expanding for for over a month now.

NO3 are stable to 5 and PO4 at 0.03.
I have added an acropora plana, 1 acropora granulosa and 1 acropora hyacinthus a month ago and all of them are in good contition and stable good color.

I just purchased pohl's extra

could you please reccomend me dosage for this ?? I m planning to use 1ml daily insant of 2 ml which is reccomended for my volume..

I would also like to further reduce my nutrients. Is it a good idea to run :
zeobak: 2 drops every second day
BioMate: 2 (or 4) drops every second day

thanks in advance!

Your dosing regimen is fine. I would recommend to begin with 2 ml XTra 2 x weekly, additional to decrease PO4 you might dose 4 drops BioMate every second day. Also make sure that you use the correct reactor flow (200 liters / hour) by measuring it. Adjust your skimmer to skim more wet for some time also, cleaning it regular to export as much as possible.

OK, I will change my dosing regimen as per your instraction

I always run my skimmer wet and I clean the cup 2 times a week.
my reactor flow is about 220l/h.

I also have AA consetrate and CV expired 6 months ago .. I havent use them yet. I had the bottles before I run zeo. Is it time to use the or not yet?

If both do not smell odd they should still be fine. You can store CV in the fridge now.

Merry Cristmas to all!!

my schedule:
zeobak: 2 drops daily (for the last 15 days)
Zeostart: 0.2ml x 2 daily
Sponge Power: 2 drops every other day
BioMate: 4 drops every other day
Xtra: 2ml, 2 x weekly
CAA: 1 drop weekly
CoralSnow 3ml x 2 times a week mixed once with bak and once with biomate.
I Increased zeovit quantity from 400ml to 500ml and flow 220l/h

I recenlty bought b-balance. How often do I need to dose?

My nitrates are stuck between 5-10 and last phosprate test was 0.1 probably because I am feeding frozen cube every second day.

It is been four months in zeovit, how can I further decrease nutrients to ultra low level?
Should I increase bak dosing or inrcrease flow it the reactor?
Just to remind that I run bare bottom and I have 2 liters of siporax in my sump.. I m not sure if it helps or not

Colors looks fine and I have good PE .. the only problem is with an acropora plana wich turned very dark but with great PE!

My K level is 390ppm

Compared to 4 weeks ago both PO4 and NO3 have increased. Do you have any idea why this has happen ? Have you added additional fish or changed anything else ?

I have not experience with siporax but I would personally remove it slowly step by step over a couple of weeks to get space for a couple of more live rock.

No changes, no additions. I only feed a little bit more and added xtra in my schedule.
I dont have live rock at all in my tank. My rock in display tank is ceramic from aquaroche (http://aquaroche.fr/en/). It is almost 3 years old

What is your thoughts? what would u do?

Your dosing regimen is fine, it also looks like the PO4 level is still the same since you have started to use ZeoVit just NO3 has come down a little bit.

I am personally not a fan of the ceramic media also IMO a bare bottom system has a more sensitive biology compared to a system with a shallow sand bed.

To me it looks like there are still nutrients bound in the ceramic rock which need to be processed, this can be a long process but finally nutrients should slowly come down. I would also try to slowly remove the siporax step by step keeping a close eye to the PO4 and NO3 levels.

do u suggest to start using b-balance or just keep it for later?

You can try to dose 4 ml B-Balance 2 x weekly if you like to but I expect it will not cause much positive changes as long as nutrients are elevated. Make sure to remove the siporax material in small steps over a longer period like 2 month or so.
