Would recommend to replace 90% of the zeovit material, after the exchange dose ZeoBac daily for 19 days, than 2 x weekly as usual.

About 2 weeks after the exchange you can try to switch your reactor to continuous flow if all corals are doing fine. This should be helpful to slowly decrease the NO3 over the next couple of weeks.

The bubble algae will grow in a nutrient poor system also, just slower so over a long term you need to add some kind of a herbivore to get rid of them.

Sorry, that was a typo, dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days after each ZeoVit exchange. A reactor flow of 200 liters per hour would be ideal. I had luck with a naso tang but for your system size the fish is to big. A foxface would be a additional possibility but it will get bigger also. Bugger has described some kind of crabs over here:

http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35541

Maybe worth a try.

If you like to you can add 4 drops BioMate 2 x weekly to your dosing regimen.

my schedule:

zeobak: 2 drops, 3 times a week
Zeostart: 0.2ml x 2 daily
Sponge Power: 2 drops daily.

NO3: 20
PO4: 0.03

do I have to use sponge power daily? bottle says "every other day"

what else can I add to help tank biology?

Nitrates still high enough and phosphrates still normal no change during these first almost 6 weeks.

Colors looks "lighter" and I have good PE (no PE before I start zeovit)

THANK U!

I would recommend you to continue dosing as follows:

zeobak: 2 drops 2 x weekly
Zeostart: 0.2ml x 2 daily
Sponge Power: 2 drops every other day
BioMate: 4 drops 2 x weekly

NO3 will come down over the time. Do your corals are showing good growth and which kind of the additional products you already own ?

I haven't mention any growth yet but my coral was in really bad condition before I start zeovit. On the other hand, color become lighter like something is going to change and I have PE.. there was no PE for a couple of months before I start zeo.

I don't use any other product and I don't own any other product. I just ordered biomate according to your suggestion Any further suggestions are more than welcome

I turned to continue flow to my reactor 1 week after first exchange and nothing bad happened. Flow is 180 l/h instant of 200 l/h .. is that a matter? do I need to buy a new pump?

The NO3 level is not a real problem, it will come down over the time however increasing the reactor flow to ~ 200 liters per hour would be good.

If corals tissue is to light already you can try to dose 2 ml XTra Standard 2 3 x weekly additional.

44 days in program and I'm really happy with it..

today measures:

KH: 7
Ca: 435
Mg: 1170
and......K: 390 (yes! I finally got a potassium test!)

now the big issue .. ΝΟ3 looks close to 10.. (I could never see the difference between these pinks! my girlfrind always red the test for me :p) and now after months looks something around 15ppm

PO4 stable.. 0.034ppm

I bought a new pump for my reactor.. a chinese one at 500l/h but even in lower settings flow was 260l/h .. so I stick with my old pump and flow around 180l/h until I buy a new one to rich the desired flow 200l/h ..

schedule runs as Alexander suggested and I'm waitting BioMate on Tuesday.

here are some pics..

and some sps .. I thing you will understand what I mean when I say the looks to change color and become "lighter"..

here is my sump

and here is how my tank was 7 months ago...

Yes, just keep ZeoBac, BioMate and CV in the fridge, all other products need to be stored at normal room temperature in a dark, dry place.

They should be fine, just store them at normal room temperature now.
