Default Sump design question

I have a 90 gallon reef tank that I am setting up. I am planning on keeping a mixed reef and running the zeovit system. My sump will have a intake that that then goes through filter socks. Then the flow will get split with most of the water going into the skimmer section. A smaller lower flow part of the water will go through a refugium where it will pass through marine pure and return to the skimmer section. Then the flow will continue throu to the rerun section passing through carbon. I will probably dra water from either the skimmer section or the return section to go to an external zeovit reactor and return it into the return chamber of the sump. The idea behind the marine pure is to have a low oxygen place for bacteria to grow. My question is the marine pure refugium just over kill because the zeovit reactor kinda does the same thing. And therefore not needed. Or is this a good plan.

Hi crash29ca

Just make sure that the zeovit reactor outlet is behind the skimmer as the mulm which comes from the reactor while cleaning is a excellent food source for the corals.

Personally I would not use the marine pure material, some good quality live rock would be the best choice IMO if you like to put some kind of material in the sump additional.
