Thanks so much.

I am still waiting for my sand. I found that there is many dirty things on the bottom of my tank. If I add new sand into my tank, I think it will still keep lots of organic. I would like to know how to prevent the sand bed keeping this thing

new update, i used a small pump to clean the surface of the rock. There was so much mulm. Guess that's the reason the nitrate is still high. Now the nitrate dropped from 25 to 20. I would like to know when I could start to keep sps.

Dear Alexander,

salinity is 1.025, ca 450, mg 1400, K 380 KH 7.5, No3 around 15ppm, phosphate nearly 0.

i clean the surface of my rocks twice a day.(use a small pump to blow the rock and try to filter the mulm).

and i changed 25L water (almost 1/5) yesterday, and the nitrate level reduced to 15-20. but phosphate is 0 now, and it seems stable.

thanks for your help

I would not see a problem to add the fist not to delicate SPS coral to see how it is doing. If that coral is doing fine over the next 2 weeks you can slowly start to add additional corals step by step.

Thanks! The nitrate level is lower and lower everyday. I will do one more large amount of water change and recheck all parameters before I add them. also,do I need to use other products for sps?

Hey Alexander

Thanks for that. I decide to observe the stability of my tank for a while before adding any of them.

my nitrate level is still around 15, i have cleaned the mulm of my tank twice a day and changed some water. but seems the nitrate doesnt reduce. fish is not overfeed (once in two days). i am wondering whether my tank will get ULNS or 15 is the limit of my tank.

A NO3 level of 15 mg is not a real problem, I am sure the parameter will slowly decrease over the time.

You can use it if you like to but I have personally not used it. Dosing Coral Snow Standard 2 x weekly would IMO be better in your case.
