Default no3=0 and po4=0 shake zeolite?

Hello everyone, I would like to know if with NO3=0 and PO4=0 it is necessary to continue the same to shake the zeolite and the metering zeostart, as I do in this case?
Thanks
p.s. excuse my bad English

Yes it is recommended to clean /shake) the material also if nutrients are not detectable. The mulm released from the material is a excellent food source for the corals.

Thanks as always for your prompt and precise answers. The zeostart I have to continue to measure out the same?
Regards, Eugenio

If both levels are constant undetectable you should also be able to reduce the ZeoStart addition but I would personally not go under 50% of the recommended quantity. If you plan to do reduce the quantity step by step over a couple of weeks while monitoring the PO4 and NO3 levels.

Gent.mo Alexander I take this post and I ask you if in this case IE PO4 and NO3 not detectable is the case to use other sources of food such as Coral vitalizer and/or AA??
Thank you
Happy year 2018

Happy New Year Eugenio.

To improve coloration and growth it makes sense to dose some additional products if the system runs nutrient poor stabile without detectable nutrients if corals tissue has already started to become lighter.

Gent.mo Alexander Before you add some other supplement all the corals must have a light look what does that mean? Should they have a pastel and bright color? You can post an example photo of a coral that has this state will surely help everyone. What additional products should be added at this point for an aquarium of 400 lt? Thank you and again Happy New Year

The tissue should not be brown it should already started to become lighter because of the lower nutrient conditions. You might post pictures of some of your corals so we will see if that is already the case.

Please also post a list of the products from korallenzucht you already have.

Hello Alexander I attached a few pictures, I hope they came well to make you understand the situation. I have the following KZ products available at Coral Vitalizer, aa Sps and AA Lps, sponge power.
From 10 days I changed zeolite and I am doing 3 on 3 off up to 15 days.

Thanks for everything

p.s. Excuse my bad English

Corals looking healthy to me showing good growth. You can try to do some bigger water changes with a well balanced salt (3 x 15% within 10 days) first if you like to. This should usually improve the situation temporary.

To improve coloration (some corals look like their tissue is to light) you mixt additional dose 1 ml XTra / 100 liters 3 x weekly.

As you already have AAHC SPS you can begin dosing it with 1 drop / 100 liters every other day for the next 2 weeks.

I beg your pardon. Do I first change and then start with the integrations?
In place of Xtra can I use Xtra Special? I already have a small package otherwise I will buy Xtra.
How salt the KZ is okay?
Thank you

Excuse me, can I let the reactor go continuously at this point or do I continue 3on 3 off yet?
Thank you

You might start with the water changes first. You can also use XTra Special instead, if corals tissue becomes darker cut back the dosage of it.

I have just used the korallenzucht salt in the past and had great results with it.

Because of the reactor flow, how often have you changed the ZeoVit material already since you use the system ?

Good Morning Alexander. I have shared with Zeovit since September this is the second change of Zeolite, on December 20 I replaced the zeolite, I added 4 drops of Zeobak for 10 days and I used the reactor in on-off mode until today, okay or should I continue?
