Difficult to give a recommendation as I do not know how your corals are looking at the moment, any chance to post some good example pictures of your corals or describe what exactly you like to improve ?

Hi plz see the attached pic and let me know what you think..
Also wondering if you have recommendation for any other additives which I should include in my dosing regime to further enhance coral coloration. ?

Looks like the slime is coming from the corals directly, another idea are snails which have a chalk tube producing slime.

During the last few days my tank seems to have developed some new sort of red slime algae on some corals.

can you take a look at pic and let me know what you think..

Looks like cyanos, if just some small areas are affected I would recommend to first try to vacuum them out first, than use a brush to clean the areas completely. If they show again some kind of a treatment might be necessary. Please also check the quality of your RO water.

Dear Alexander,

The RODI has 0 TDS.. I check and change carbon & sediment filter regularly..

Also recently I have noticed my nitrates have began to rise from the time I raised my dosage of ZS3 from 0,6ml to 1.2 ml daily.. they were hovering around 10 ppm in the past and now they are up to 25ppm again.. Which brings me to my next quetion. What is the best way to reduce nitrates in a zeovit system ? Should I cut down on my ZS3 dosage ? also should i be dosing Amino acids and CV during this time ?

thanks.

Because it is the conversion between the systems (1 year), it really takes a while to avoid any uncomfortable pressure on the corals. It is hard to say that you have better opinions. It is not clear whether you will continue to use UV lamps or use zeolites of different materials. , or other objects (marine pure blocks). It is not clear what the current health of the coral is. The system does not recommend mixing, not knowing your current situation, and there are too many factors involved.

The question you asked, I tried to answer that you should not let corals and systems impact.

@ What is the best way to reduce nitrate in the zeovit system?

A- Zeo Basic 4 product use - Zeo Bac, Zeo Sponge Power, Zeo Start3, Zeo zeolite. Zeo activated carbon. The more wet Skimmer adjusts and the more time the system matures.

@ Should I reduce the dose of ZS3? Should I also give amino acids and CV during this time?

A- ZS3 depends on the amount of water corresponding to the system, and the application of nutrient levels at different stages is added, with a substantial positive impact on tank biology.
A- Zeo CV Coral Food Support and Coral Mucus Tissue maintains coral health and polyp growth. Usually 1 drop = 100L = 25 US gallons, which is good in the growth of light and good PE and polyps in coral tissue with low dystrophic environment. If you like it usually twice a week, there will be no fluctuations in nutrient salt in my experience.

A-Zeo AA Coral Health Protein Energy Amino Acid Fluorescent Protein Color Effect, Excessive Use of Coral Tissue Darkness, Usually Supplemented Well in Low Malnutrition Water Quality

Can you please share a picture of your sump ?

Are your corals growing or has growth decreased in the last couple of weeks ?

Please also post your actual full dosing regimen and measure the flow through the ZeoVit reactor.

Do you still use the FM zeolite ?
