Default Coral Booster

A few months ago while setting up my doser, due to a programming error on my part I accidentally ended up dumping 200ml of KZ Coral Booster into my system. I didnt see any adverse affects but now, a few months later, I have some acros struggling a bit. No massive deaths yet.

An ICP tests showed high levels of Sb, Li, Mo, Zinc, Ba and Silcon. Ive also tested my salt mix, HW-Marinemix Reefer, and it does not how elevate levels of these elements. Do you think these are from the CB or should I look elsewhere?

Let me know,
Joey

I think it is. I do icp monthly and noticed that zinc and ba exist in some the zeo nutrients product.
200ml i alot and depend on yoir tank volume it might be quite and overdose, did you do any water change after the overdose?
What else are you dosing? Whats your dosing regimen? How often u do water change and how much?

That's why it is good to make 10-20% water change every week.
Water change brings back balance, removes excess elements, replenishes depleted ones, removes organics.

These levels can be caused by earlier overdose of CB or just accumulated over time (if you dont do water changes).

Usually heavy overdosing of microelements causes algae and coral darkening.

Ive been doing 20% water chances every week because of this. Ive shut off my dosing of CB. Just dosing Bak, Start, Sponge, Iodine, AA, K and B.

Didnt notice any coral darkening but that could be because the B balance is helping.

Going to do two more 20% changes and then another ICP test this week.

Thanks. For AA and BB I use the KZ Automatic Elements so I still have them in at this time. I did do two 30% water changes two days apart and sent in an ICP test before and after. Nitrates are about 10ppm which I'm fine with. I have another ICP test ready to go in 4 weeks. I'm going to see if anything I have in the tank are increasing those elements over the course of four weeks.

Thanks for your tips.
