Default Coral Booster or pohl's extra special

Hi,

I do not run a zeo ULNS system. PO4 around 0.05 and nitrates between 5-10.
The only zeo products i use are sponge power daily 3 drops for 75 gallon tank and Flatworm Stop 3 ml daily.

Will be getting Coral Snow too.

Now for acro colors , which one is more recommended - Coral Booster or Pohl's Extra Special ? Have some acros browned out or darkened and hence want to bring back colors.

Regards,
Abhishek

Difficult to say as the brown coral you have mention is the result of the elevated nutrients usually. Both products might increase coloration a little bit but both work best at lower nutrient concentrations.

Hi Alexander ,

Do you think these additives will work best only under ULNS conditions ?
Nitrates of 5-10 is not that high and am a little scared to bring them down which might impact other acros .

Abhishek

Overdosage sings or both products are a brown film and darker coral tissue. Nutrients in your system are not high however they are elevated but you should expect some improvements using the products if everything else like light for example is OK.

Hi Alexander,

Today got my ICP testing done and found that phosphates are around 0.07 and nitrates testing done at home shows 5-10.
Do you think its prudent to use just coral snow and coral vitalizer now , and may be pohl's extra special once or twice a week ?

Regards,
Abhishek

You can give it a try, as mention before watch out for the overdosing signs.
