I think your coral reef is still very young. You are using dry rock instead of live rock, so the biological process is still being established. It may take several months for the biology to stabilize, without worrying that it is a conversion process. Also don't add corals for the time being. Also ensure the correct ro water quality, then look at G. How to say, whether to return to bak sp st3 first, it may be helpful to add bak +snow, for the time being, first explain which potions and doses you currently add, if possible, try to be detailed tank Data sump information, waiting for G. advice

Is it the relationship of pictures? I feel that the dust is very thick. Is there a partition underneath? If it is not, I think it would be good to put about 2~3 thick cm of dust. Of course, this is just my idea. Everyone has Everyone's preferences. Like my newbie, I chose not to put sand on it. This is just my thought, I hope you don't mind. Thank you

correct! Is it a live sand? This is very important, kz does not recommend the use of live sand, which makes the strain competition and stability for a long time (maybe...). In addition, kz does not recommend the use of ozone. This allows bacteria to die (maybe...), and kz does not recommend the use of phosphorus removal. Also, I don't know if it is excessive for start3. Usually, it will have a tiny bubble on the live rock tube, or it may not be a problem at present. Because the tank is still young, it doesn't matter.

3.5 mg of NO3 does not have any negative impact to your corals or their coloration so my recommendation is to just ignore it. Over the time it will come down.

The stuff on the sand looks like diatoms to me, the system is still very young at this stage it is some kind of normal. If you like to you can try to dose 2 ml CoralSnow daily (pure) for the next 10 days.

Do you still dose like described in post 1 of this thread ?

Quote:
- Bak 1drop (1Week 3days)
- Start3 0.1ml (Everyday)
- SP 1drop (1Week 3days)
- Coral Snow 1ml (1Week 1days)
- ZeoZym 0.1tsp (1Week 1days)
- Coral Vitalizer 1drop (1Week 2days)
- Pohl's Xtra 0.25ml (Everyday)
- Bio-Mate 1Drop (1week)

I think it's harmless, and it will gradually change shape as the system matures. Then follow G.'s suggestion that coral snow can help. It's just my guess. It may be that the membrane may be start3. Make sure the water source has the correct value for each parameter. Take the recommended prescription for G. Keep it steady and everything will be perfect and on the right path. And after all aspects are properly done, the coral tissue should gradually lighten and see good growth, just do it

Basically the dosing regimen is fine, lets just reduce XTra to 2 ml 2 x weekly.

Additional dose 2 ml CoralSnow once daily for the next 10 days and vacuum the sand while doing regular water changes for some time.

Also make sure that your RO unit does have a purest water resin as the last stage.
