Hello chercm, cv & sponge power can be used, they are not the cause of cycano, please feel free to use. Cycano is generally treated from water quality, "organic matter", to understand the function of kz products,

such as: weekly fixed water exchange refresh balance, siphon dust, zeolite, activated carbon, skimmer, zeo bak, coral snow,kz zz, all belong to "water treatment" "

Can you post pictures, how are they shaped algae?

Zeo food7 is classified as "feeding and color" and contains amino acids and elements, similar to start+AA (similar, not exactly), as clearly stated in the kz guide, OD symptoms: nuisance algae, cyano, black , brown film. Also used for the initial version of the old version, the new version is changed to sponge power. When the malnutrition environment is good, adding food7 makes more sense.

If you still have questions, you can ask again, I will try to help you, but I don't learn much. Some places are not correct. I hope you can understand more.

At the moment I would recommend to just use the products mention in post #9, additional the cyano treatment if necessary.

That is what I would do. If corals tissue becomes lighter because of the decreased nutrients it is the right time to start slowly adding additional elements.

Yes, if necessary, use Ro/di to soak them in 2 times of water, or rinse slightly, Zeo bac1 drops = 100L every day for 10 days, add strains and eliminate algae, not necessarily algae is difficult to say. If the coral is healthy, the reactor can be switched to continuous flow, the flow rate is about 300~400L per hour, and the K+ level is checked to 380 mg.

Dosing Zeobac daily for 10 days is recommended after each Zeovit exchange, even if the system runs nutrient poor stabile already. This does speed up the colonization of the fresh material.

Please forgive me for trying to answer your signs with unprofessional,

1. Coral does not grow

2. Coral is a kind of self-protection (the top light source can accept energy, whitening from the bottom, similar to a survival method, and reduce the lack of nutritious food A kind of protection.

3. Coral pale Zooxanthella, when the nutrient-rich Zooxanthella increases, the coral appears to be brown

4. Corals are animals, they need carbohydrates. The appropriate supplements in low malnutrition are good, provide food at the right time, and maintain coral health. With color.

5.If coral tissue becomes lighter due to reduced nutrients, it is time to start adding other elements slowly.

Have your corals already started to get lighter tissue and do they show normal growth ?

You do not treat the cyanos with Snow, CyanoClean or A-Balance ? How massive is the problem ?
