I'm about to do my first change over, is it a 100% change for the same volume? No3 is still in the .25~.5 and phos around .25 for the last 2 weeks

Just replace 90% of the material while keeping about 10% of the old material in the reactor. After each replacement dose ZeoBac daily for 10 days, otherwise 2 x weekly.

If you still run the reactor with the 3 hour on / off interval you can also switch to continuous flow about 2 weeks after the first exchange if all your corals are doing fine. Make sure to use the right reactor flow.

My nitrates are closer to .5 and phosphates around .12

Can I increase the zeostart a bit to accommodate the increase in nitrates?

Have you already switched the reactor to continuous flow ?

Please also post your full actual dosing regimen.

Yeah you told me I could switch 2 weeks in so that's when I did it.

Currently it is .3ml zeo start X2 a day, 4 drops of zeobak after change, 2 drops of zeofood on tuesday & saturday.

For about 2 1/2 weeks I've also done 2 drops of amino and 1 drop of phol's coral vitalizer every day. I have some other supplements I got from another hobbyist like sponge power, xtra special and biomate that I am not using yet.

Perfect, would recommend to continue dosing as follows for the next 3 weeks:

ZeoBac – 3 drops2 – 3 x weekly (daily after a ZeoVit exchange)
ZeoStart – 0.3 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower – 3 drops every other day
BioMate – 6 drops every other day

ZeoFood optional if you like to.

Because of the flow change in the reactor and the new dosing regimen I would expect that nutrients do come down slowly in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Should I skip the amino and pohls vitalizer?

I also got pohl's xtra concentrate and special from another reefer, should I use these in the future/now along with the vitalizer or is it the same thing?

How much is your current np? Is the coral tissue well stretched and light?

While nutrients are elevated I would recommend to not dose additional coloration elements. They can be used later once the system runs nutrient poor stabile and corals start to get lighter tissue.
