I was recommended that I put some snails "Engina Mendicaria" in the aquarium, and the truth is that no more tube worms have come back to me, and those that were already dead. I put 4 for 300l and very occasionally I see some walking in the aquarium because they are very small snails.

Alex,
Have you dealt with these snails in the past? What remedies you can share?

The pictures have disappear but I think they are harmless, had them in all my reefs also in the sump and inside the tubes after some time. They can grow massive but their replication gets reduced the nutrient poorer a system is. I never had direct issues with them. I was jut searching for their name but not able to find them in the web.

Vermited snails like Bugger mention are more problematic to the corals because of their slime net. I have always tried to keep them out of my tanks by putting some epoxy on them to seal the hole. Additional I had success to get rid of them with a adult navarchus angel which has not touched the corals but this can differ from one to another.

If I remember the pictures correctly I do not think those are Vermited snails.
