Hello Jacky, glad to hear the fish are doing fine !

What you describe sounds like Dinoflagellate to me. Can you post a picture or video which does show the film under more natural light ?

G.Alexander

Ok, no problem, wait for me to get off work. At the moment, the tank turns off the lights, waiting for me to go back to shoot the video and turn on the light.

You are right G.Alexander, the lights will be more. Today, some small bubbles have become more, they are Dinoflagellate, Snow and ZZ seem to have no effect. Does KZ have a product to deal with this Dinoflagellate?

Can you suggest me how to do it?

Jacky, I'm going to give some advice that I've done and I've eliminated the dinos.

-Do not exchange water.

-Eliminate white light.

-Use zeobak + coral snow + cyanoclean.

-If they appear cyano or diatom does not clean the glass, they are competitors of the dinos.

-Increase your pH to 8.6.

-Decrease lighting time, only blues

- If possible, make your NO3 and PO4 detectable.
Do not dose any other supplement with such as AAHC, XTRA, Booster ...

Read this topic.

These days I wrote here about this, I believe you have read, even you commented the photo I posted of my acropora with dinos ...

Good luck, in need of help, count on me.

Hello Carrico, thank you very much, it is very helpful to give me the information. The video is the current state of tank, I am already dealing with it, I hope that sps can pass safely.

I don't know how they are generated. I want to understand and avoid this happening again, but my knowledge and information is limited. This is something that makes me feel very sad. I want to learn from failure, but I don't know how "failure" happened.

Thank you, maybe this is a direction that leads to the possibility of happening. I will be cautious again to confirm the inspection. Thank you very much,I received your encouragement.

How massive is the problem Jacky ?

It would be really good to know for sure if those are Dinoflaggelate before treating them, do you have access to a microscope ?

Dear G.
https://youtu.be/ByykPFg00S4
tank experienced 3 days of turning off the lights, this is the latest video, the coral is very healthy and the color is not bad. The system seems to be very robust and the corals are not affected.

I can't get the microscope...

Perhaps "it" may be a phenomenon and imbalance of some kind of OD.

At least my current "disposal method" has no problem with corals.

When I first tried to add, it was always so thrilling that the coral pressure was damaged. It seems that the system is strong enough and the coral has no problems at all.

Continuous observation...
