I do personally not trust refractometers to much you might cross check this with Triton also. Do you have any other idea where the elevated levels are coming from ?

Hi
Sent a new water sample for testing I will publish these as soon as I get them
I was thinking if my bacteria is being over fed?
Water looks a bit cloudy.

I have stoped the calcium reactor feed
And I will wait for the system to stabilize a bit.

Regards

Your dosing regimen is looking good for a net water volume of 200 liters so you do not overdose. Do you have issues with cyanos or a brown film on the rocks / sand ?

Default Brown film and Cyano

Hi

Yes I have a small amount of cyano showing in the dead / beaches acro bases.
There is a thin brown film showing as well.

My current dosing

Zeostart 1 ml per day
Sponge power 10 drops

Nothing else

Should I change anything?

Regards

Lets first try to stop dosing ZeoFood and if you use other coloration elements.

If the cyanos do not disappear within the next 2 weeks you might try to treat them with a mixture of ZeoBac and CoralSnow. This has helped many in the past but I like to add that there are some examples which have not observed a improvement with it.

If you are 100% sure that your RO water quality is fine you can continue with the regular water changes, otherwise it might be better to step them temporary.

I recommend to continue dosing as follows:

ZeoBac – 18 drops 2 – 3 x weekly
ZeoStart – 1.8 ml 2 x daily
SpongePower – 18 drops every other day

Default Updated dosing

Thanks for the recommendations

I will start the new regime today

I will stop BioMate and Coral vitalizer.

When should I start ZeoFood back?

Is that correct?

Regards

You can continue to dose 36 drops BioMate 2 x weekly if you like to.

If you do not have cyano issues anymore you can add:

18 drops ZeoFood 2 x weekly
36 drops CoralVitalizer 2 x weekly
