Next product I would recommend to try is XTra to get the coral coloration more intensive. 1 ml / 25 US gallons 3 x weekly would be a good start.

You can do 1 drop AAHC 2 x weekly and 2 drops CV 2 3 x weekly.

Lets try to dose 1.5 ml XTra for one week daily, than cut down the dosage to 2 – 3 x weekly. You can additional dose 1 drop Iodine every other day.

ZeoSpur will just lighten the tissue at the moment I would not recommend to use it.

Lets see how things are changing in the next 2 – 3 weeks.

Default My tank spec

Hi g,I'm looking at upgrading my tank to a ea reef 1200 its rated 400ltr total in wondering if I could just swap everything over,I will need to add more live rock and argonite, would I need to perform zeovit start up cycle or would it be fine just to move everything over and add more water and rock?

The most save way would be keeping both systems side by side for a couple of weeks doing the 14 day cycle on the new system before transferring the animals.

Sounds good alternatively just some kind of tube with a pump temporary for the old system is another alternative.

To speed up the cycling of the new system you can additional place some of the old zeolite from your existing system in the sump additional + the fresh material in the recommended quantity.

Default My tank spec

Hi g,so I can't run my existing tank as I will be doing a tank swap,so I will set up a small tank to run for 14days whilst new tank cycles,if I add my sand and live rock, and some old zeolite out of my existing tank how much faster would new tank cycle,or would it just be a case of monitoring nitrate??im concerned il loose my sps due to the temporary tank conditions for 14days,just trying to get a idea so I can plan as best I can
Thanks

I would not recommend to use the sand of the old system, just mix a couple of hands of the old sand with the fresh sand.

If you use good quality live rock you should be able to cycle the system within 2 or 3 weeks but please keep in mind until the system runs really stabile more time will pass but usually you are able to transfer the first animals after 2 or 3 weeks.

You can place some of the old zeovit material in the sump additional of the new system, this will also speed up the cycling process.
